Fusilier Shaun Stocker lost both legs and the sight in one eye when he was blown up by a land mine in Masizi in the south east of Afghanistan on April 4, just six days before he was due to return home from duty. Aged just 19 Shaun was honoured by the Queen in June and is seen here with 5 times British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae in the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth that was also rallied by Jimmy's sons Colin and Alister.

LMS Class Stanier Black 5 5MT 4-6-0 steam locomotive No. 44932 is seen in the New Forest, Hampshire with the 08:45 London Victoria to Weymouth 'Dorset Coast Express' train. Built at Horwich works in 1945 44932 was 1 of 842 of the Black 5 class and was withdrawn from British Railways service in August 1968 when steam ended on the national rail network.

The domed brick pumphouse of Wexcombe Waterworks in Wiltshire given the infrared treatment. Built in 1899 this grade II listed building carries the inscription 'WEXCOMBE WATERWORKS, THE GIFT OF WILLIAM CORBIN FINCH, AD 1899' above the wooden doors. Dr Corbin Finch was the proprietor of the Fisherton House Lunatic Asylum in Salisbury.

0-6-2T steam locomotive 'Naomi' leaves Exbury Central Station with the 16:00 service at the Exbury Gardens Railway. Built to 12 1/4 inch gauge the railway winds through the gardens on a 1 1/4 mile circular route. 'Naomi' was built at the Exmoor Steam Railway in Devon in 2002.
